21 Savage’s pending immigration case continues as his current citizenship status sits in legal limbo. 21 Savage was detained by ICE to be deported back to London amid an expired visa this past February. 21 was released on a $100,000 bond one week later.
The Atlanta rapper was scheduled to appear in court on April 9, but the hearing was postponed and was not rescheduled. Savage still hasn’t been given a court date to settle his immigration case. In addition, the government has forbidden Savage from leaving the country until the case is fully resolved. Savage has been living in the U.S. as an undocumented immigrant since 2005.
